Mental Health in FE

Date: Tuesday 19 February 2019

Time: 12:00 - 13:30

Location: Committee Room 5, Ty Hywel

Approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year according to the charity, Mind.

With increased awareness of mental health matters, colleges are experiencing a rise in the number of incidents of poor mental health and wellbeing. Excellent work is already taking place in FE colleges in developing interventions and support. This event is to encourage further collaboration and sharing of best practice amongst colleges and wider stakeholders, with the ambition to develop a new FE Framework for Mental Health.
