Vacancies
Director of Development
As Director of Development you will be responsible for leading and growing the team of Project Officers delivering a range of services in partnership with colleges. Current work in this area includes international mobility and exchange, helping colleges prepare for the changes to Additional Learning Needs provision as well as projects in sport, mental health and wellbeing and professional development. A self-starter with experience of developing solutions for members and ideally with a track record within further education, work based learning or higher education, you will be a member of our senior management team. The Director of Development will be responsible for meeting and achieving income targets, ensuring that projects meet our high expectations in terms of impact and quality as well as growing this area of our activity.

Policy Officer
With an election to the National Assembly for Wales just around the corner, ColegauCymru is preparing its manifesto and strengthening its policy research. As the body charged by our members to represent them across A Levels, vocational learning, higher level provision (up to and including degrees) as well as work-based learning and employability, the Policy Officer will be responsible for ensuring that we have a sound evidence base when seeking to influence government policy. You’ll have a thorough knowledge of policy consultation processes, ideally with some background in education and skills, and a track record of working with qualitative and quantitative data to develop informative reports and briefings on key issues. As a charity, our research is all about securing the best public benefit for government’s investment in post compulsory education. As part of a global network of colleges and training providers, we seek to learn from the very best to be the very best when it comes to education, skills and lifelong learning. As Policy Officer you will be at the heart of this process.
