Staff, and members alike, of ColegauCymru are saddened to hear of the sudden death of Aled Roberts. As the Welsh Language Commissioner, and previously as an Assembly Member, Aled was both a ready advocate and a respected critical friend of the further education sector.
ColegauCymru Chair, Guy Lacey, said
“We are incredibly and profoundly shocked and saddened at Aled’s loss. His strong personal ethos and public service values combined with a love of the Welsh language stood out in all that he did. There will be further chances to pay tribute to him, but currently our thoughts are with his wife, Llinos and the whole family.”
