ColegauCymru argues that the further education sector needs to be fully involved in the work of corporate joint committees (CJCs), in particular in discussions concerning promotion of the economic wellbeing of their areas, or where the role of education is expanded into discussions about post-16 provision.

CJCs should be required to report regularly on the diversity of both the membership of the CJC and the members it has co-opted.  This includes linguistic diversity and specifically, the Welsh language skills of participants.
