As part of our commitment to helping to progress the anti-racist Wales agenda, we are delighted to invite you to the launch of the ColegauCymru partnership with Black Further Education Leadership Group (BFELG).

We are working together to build a Wales that is anti-racist, and one where all learners have the right to world-class education, delivered in a safe, diverse and inclusive setting, within a sector which supports the wider community, employers and the economy.

Joining us for the online launch of this partnership on 1 December 2021 will be Welsh Government Minister for Social Justice, Jane Hutt MS. The event will highlight the ongoing work of ColegauCymru and our joint priorities for the years ahead.

BFELG representatives will also talk about the 10-year goals for further education in Wales, with a focus on challenging racism, increasing attainment in skills and training outcomes amongst black, Asian and minority ethnic learners, whilst also increasing ethnically diverse leadership and governance roles in further education.

A short panel discussion will allow for questions from delegates.
