ColegauCymru welcomes the Minister for Education’s agreed expenditure to support a Professional Learning Network for the further education sector in Wales.
The purpose of the Post-16 Teaching and Learning Network is to support professional learning to enhance teaching, learning and assessment across FE and WBL.
ColegauCymru Director of Development Kelly Edwards said,
“We’re pleased to have secured funding for a Post-16 Teaching and Learning Network. This will provide a forum to exchange best practice, to facilitate further collaboration across the FE sector in Wales and to strengthen digital pedagogy.”
The Network will report to the Curriculum and Quality Group and will meet on a termly basis, and a further annual conference/professional learning event.
