The OOOO model was conceived by Dr Lesley Taylor as a means of encouraging and enabling learners to tell their story. To be worth telling - every story needs an OOOO factor. Here is what those 4 O’s represent. Objective, what was the goal? Obstacle, what challenges were faced? Opportunities, what alternative ways for success showed up? Outcome, what was achieved or learned?
This is a useful method of self-assessment relating to practical projects learners have worked on but can also be used by learners to prepare for the types of questions they may face during interviews for University places.
