ColegauCymru encourages the Committee to explore the effectiveness of using local authorities as channels for delivering the replacement for European funds, especially with regard to skills and training. Over the longer term, the Committee should also evaluate how the new Corporate Joint Committees are operating in practice, focussing on their economic wellbeing activity, and taking account of the link between education, skills and economic wellbeing.
