New video tutorial to encourage colleges across Europe to find work placements in European countries

Following a successful Erasmobility transitional meeting in November 2021, a new video tutorial has been launched with a voiceover from our very own International Project Manager to promote the Work placement exchanges platform.

The free on-line platform is where vocational training centres and colleges help each other to find work placements in European countries.

The video explains how the Erasmobility platform works and is being used to encourage more vocational colleges and schools across Europe to sign up. It’s the only ‘partner search’ platform dedicated to exchanges between vocational learners, apprentices and staff.

CollegesWales International is one of 10 EU partners in an Erasmus+ Key Action 2 project led by CIFPF La Costera, Xativa, Spain. Despite the travel restrictions imposed by the Covid19 Pandemic, the project has continued to make progress with project partners making use of online communication tools to hold meetings.

Colleges Wales International Project Manager Sian Holleran said,

“It was exciting to be asked to contribute to the video tutorial which we hope will encourage more registrations from across Europe.  The platform can still benefit FE colleges in Wales up until the end of 2023 while we continue to use our existing Erasmus+ funding.”
