What is the date and location of the ColegauCymru Annual Conference 2024?
The ColegauCymru Annual Conference will take place on Thursday 24 October 2024. The Conference venue is Cardiff City Stadium.
What is the timeline for the Conference?
- Exhibitors to set up between 7.00am - 7.45am
- Registration, Exhibition space and refreshments from 8.00am
- Conference begins at 9.00am
- Conference closes at 4.15pm
The ColegauCymru Annual Conference Dinner will take place on the eve of the Conference on Wednesday 23 October, 2024. The Dinner venue is Hilton Hotel, Cardiff.

How do I register?
You need to book your place online. If you have any queries regarding registration which are not answered on this page, then please contact Rachel.Rimanti@ColegauCymru.ac.uk
How much does it cost to attend?
Conference and Conference Dinner prices can be found on the Eventbrite online booking form.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept payment by credit card, debit card or Bacs transfer. Please note that Bacs transfers can only be received once an invoice has been sent, which can be provided once registration is completed and included in the confirmation email. Credit card payments can be made via the online booking page at the time of booking. If you have any problems with your payment, please contact Rachel.Rimanti@ColegauCymru.ac.uk
Can I amend my booking?
If you need to amend your booking once you have registered, please do so directly via the link included in your confirmation email.
May I register more than one person from my organisation?
Yes, you may register as many colleagues as you wish.
May I bring an additional guest?
Anyone can attend the Conference and Conference Dinner as a fee-paying delegate. ColegauCymru does not, however, provide free passes for delegates. For arrangements for exhibitors please consult Rachel.Rimanti@ColegauCymru.ac.uk

When will I receive a confirmation of my registration?
You will receive a confirmation email within a few hours of submitting your registration. The confirmation email will be sent to the registration contact’s email address which you entered, who will then need to forward it on to additional attendees within the group booking, if appropriate. If you have not received confirmation after 24 hours, please contact Rachel.Rimanti@ColegauCymru.ac.uk
Amendments to your booking
What if I need to cancel my attendance?
The online registration is a legally binding agreement and so we do recommend that you only register once you are sure of your attendance. Further information on our cancellation policy below.
What are the terms and conditions of booking?
ColegauCymru reserves the right to cancel or amend the timings of the Conference, workshop sessions and Conference Dinner at any point up to the stated start time of the Conference Dinner and Conference.
If you wish to cancel your attendance, please do so directly via the link included in your confirmation email.
If you cancel your booking, ColegauCymru shall refund to you a percentage of the Conference and/or Conference Dinner fee paid, as an administration charge, on the following basis:
(1) If the notice of cancellation is received on or before Thursday 17 October 2024, we will refund 100% of the event fee, less Eventbrite charges.
(2) If the notice of cancellation is received on or after Friday 18 October 2024, no refund is available.
Is it possible to make a substitution?
Substitutions of delegates may be accepted via the online registration website before the event, provided that the proposed substitute delegate is from the same college/organisation as the original delegate.
How do I select my breakout sessions?
Preferred breakout session choices can be selected as part of the registration process. We will endeavour to allocate you to your preferred workshop session wherever possible.
Prior to the Conference
Where can I find the agenda?
An outline of the Agenda can be found on the Conference webpage.
When will I receive my final information?
Final information will be sent 10 days prior to the Conference. If you have not received details one week before the event, please contact Rachel.Rimanti@ColegauCymru.co.uk. ColegauCymru cannot be held responsible for non-arrival of automated information – it is important that delegates check spam email folders.
When will I receive my name badge?
On arrival at Cardiff City Stadium, you will be able to sign in and collect your name badge at the registration desk.
At the Conference
Is access to the internet is available at the Conference?
There will be free Wi-Fi access at Cardiff City Stadium.
What is the dress code?
The dress code for the Conference is business attire.
The dress code for the Conference Dinner is formal.

Travel and parking facilities
Where possible, we ask that you consider travelling by public transport or car share.

Conference Parking: Free parking at Cardiff City Stadium.
Conference Dinner Parking: There is no onsite car parking at Hilton Hotel, Cardiff. Conference Dinner guests are encouraged to use the NCP on Greyfriars Road and can pre-book using the following link: Cardiff Castle Parking | Cardiff Greyfrairs Car Park - NCP. A discount of 10% is available using the code HILTOCT24. Please note the code can only be utilised on the machine in the carpark and not when pre-booking.
Will there be a prayer room / quiet space which delegates can use?
Yes. Please contact a member of staff at the Conference for further details.
After the Event
Can I get copies of the materials presented at the Conference?
Selected presentations will be available to access online following the Conference.
