“I became an assessor at the beginning of the first Lockdown in March 2020. Olivia was one of my first learners and was employed by Dyfed Powys Police as an ICT Business Change Apprentice.

Olivia enrolled on to our City & Guilds Level 2 Business Administration, a qualification designed for individuals who want to work in administrative support roles in public or private sector organisations, or for those who want to improve their administrative and supervisory skills.

This course allowed Olivia to be introduced to the requirements of an administrative role and to gain confidence in her knowledge, whilst evidencing her capabilities.

We are delighted that Olivia completed within target, working to a very high standard for the duration of her study. Once completed, she was able to apply for positions within the Dyfed Powys Police Force and in November 2021, was successful in her application for the role of an ICT Business Change Project Support.

Olivia was also nominated for Dyfed Powys Police Newcomer of the Year 2020. As one of 3 finalists, it was a considerable achievement to be nominated. Olivia is extremely happy and proud to be in a more permanent role in the Force.”
